One night, I was checking my MySpace and came across my Afiq’s page. I saw that the first name on his friend’s list was a girl and she called herself -manggis-. Afiq was sitting next to me playing PS2. I asked him:
Me: Afiq, nape first kawan ko manggis ni, Sape dia?
Afiq: Kawan sekolah agame je. Tah nape tah name dia atas skali. Afiq bukak2 Myspace, mcm dia tersusun sendiri.
Becoz I rarely opened my MS, I blindly believed him. Then I checked his pics and found a pic of him and this manggis girl with the caption ‘nothing’. Tak puas hati ni, so I checked his profile again and read his ‘about me’ and …. terkejut beruk nye saye dgn ayat seorg budak darjah 6. He wrote ‘ I Love Manggis’.
Me: Afiq!!ko tulis ‘i love manggis’??!!??..ko kapel dgn dia eh??
Afiq: Hhmmm (sambil bermain PS2)
Me: Sejak bile??
Afiq: Last month. Dia yang nak Afiq.
Me: Habis kawan2 ko kate ko dengan Shazwin tu? (tengok brpe byk koleksi adik aku..haish..)
Afiq: Dia yang suke Afiq. Afiq tak suka dia
Me: Nape ko clash dgn Afikah lak mase drjh 5 tu? (I wasn’t 100% sure that he had coupled with Afiqah in standard 5, tp saje buat ayat mcm ni utk menguji la konon)
Afiq: Dia tu diam and pemalu sangat
Wah!..konpem afiq dah penah kapel dgn afiqah mase drjh 5…ini tidak adil!! afiq x hensem pun, mengape menjadi rebutan??..arrgghh…life is not fair!!..hohoho
Me: Manggis tu macam mane orgnye?
Afiq: Dia dalam kelas dpt nmbr 3 skolah agame (he pointed this first sbb he knew that our parents tidak akan suke dgr dia kwn dgn org x pandai), tp afiq lagi pandai la (dia masuk bakul angkat sndiri, ikut prangai sape la ni…huhuhu). Dia mcm peramah2 jugak la..mcm angah.
Okay. that last phrase tu igt boleh le beli hati aku..sah2 le tidak..huhu
Me: Orang perangai mcm Afiq (he’s a lot like me) tak sesuai la dgn org bising2, peramah2 sgt sbb ko dh peramah
